History
God placed the dream of a small clinic in the hearts of Moise Mamy and Jon Erickson in the mid 1990's after experiencing firsthand the local medical services. The search for land took years as they both participated in CAMA Services mobile medical outreaches semi-yearly in Guinea. In 2000 the first buildings were started after a uncle gave land to the clinic. Anja Erickson, newly married, laid the foundations for the outpatient services, lab and pharmacy that are in place today. She also drew plans for the consultation building and the surgery building. The doors opened to Hope Clinic with a skeleton staff in 2004, but had to close for training and expansion in 2006. In 2007 we reopened and continue to grow.
